All about Lipitor » LIPITOR CONTENTS AND STORING

The active substance of LIPITOR is atorvastatin. Each tablet contains 10mg, 20mg, 40mg or 80mg of atorvastatin as atorvastatin calcium trihydrate.
LIPITOR tablets also contain the inactive ingredients: calcium carbonate, microcrystalline cellulose, lactose, croscarmellose sodium, polysorbate 80, hydroxypropyl cellulose and magnesium stearate.
The coating of LIPITOR contains hypromellose, macrogol 8000, titanium dioxide, talc, simeticone, macrogol stearate and sorbic acid. The 10, 20 and 40 mg tablets also contain candelilla wax.
All Strength of LIPITOR is in 28 tablets.
STORING LIPITOR
1)Keep out of reach and sight of children
2)Store in the original package. Tablets should be stored below or at room temperature (59-86°F).
Do not use after the last day of the month shown in the expiry date on the carton and blister.
