Side effects from Lipitor can occur. They can be different: less serious side effects and more serious.
Talk to your doctor if you have any of these: less serious side effects
1)mild stomach pain, gas, bloating, stomach upset, heartburn;
2)nausea, stomach pain or upset;
3)constipation, bloating, gas;
4)stuffy nose;
5)itching, skin rash;
6)muscle pain.
Ask medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction:
1)hives;
2)difficulty breathing;
3)swelling of your face, lips, tongue, throat.
If you have any of these serious side effects:
1)muscle pain, tenderness, cramps or weakness with or without a fever
2)flu symptoms
3)dark colored urine,
4)diarrhea.
Stop using Lipitor and call your doctor at once.
Talk to your doctor about any side effect that seems unusual or that is especially bothersome and don’t go away.
Side effects other than those listed here may also occur.
